Why is there an outstanding balance after my client paid the final invoice?

Problem: Your client paid their final balance, but there is still an outstanding balance.

Solution: Go to 'Financials' > 'Payments' and review the logged payments. Oftentimes, the credit card toggle will be set to 'Yes.' When toggled to 'Yes,' the convenience fee percentage set in your company defaults will be applied to that payment. Toggle this option to 'No' and click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to remove the additional amount.
