What's the difference between the admin fee and the convenience fee?

These two fees are similar, and are used for the same purpose, but applied in different ways.

Each of these two fees allows you to pass the cost of credit card transactions on to your clients, which helps to keep your profit margin from shrinking.

Admin Fee

The Admin Fee is set up within the Worksheet Settings portion of each event and is applied to all CHARGES (i.e. subtotals, fees, taxes) before they are sent to the payments page to be processed.

Convenience Fee

The Convenience Fee is set up on the Financials page of the Company section and then applied to all PAYMENTS marked as Credit Card payments after the payment is processed.
