Adjust the 'Due' column by days from now or days prior to the event!
Company Financials
When you first set up your company financials, you are able to put in a 'Due' date in the form of days prior to the event. For example, the final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.
Event Financials
Within each of your events, you have what is called the Event Financials page. This page will automatically pull in the default payment schedule you listed in your Company settings. On this page, you can adjust your payment schedule for a specific client, including the 'Due' field! When you click the 'Save' button at the bottom, the 'Date' column will automatically adjust.
Due Days Prior To The Event Date
To set a 'Due' date for days prior to the event, you have a few different options.
- Days prior to the event - Simply add the numeric value for the number of days prior to the Event Date you would like the payment due.
- Weeks prior to the event - Enter 'event', a '-' symbol, and the numeric value for the number of weeks prior to the event, and then add a 'W' to the end. Example: event-6W
- Months prior to the event - Enter 'event', a '-' symbol, and the numeric value for the number of months prior to the event, and then add an 'M' to the end. Example: event-2M
Due Days From Now
Setting a date from 'Now' allows you to give your clients a few days, weeks, or months after the initial signature to pay their retainer or other payments. For example, if your client has two weeks from the date of signature to make the retainer payment, this is the option for you! To set a date for days from 'Now', you have a few different options
- Days from now - Enter 'now', a '+' symbol, and the numeric value for the number of days from now that you would like the payment due. Example: now+6D
- Weeks from now - Enter 'now', a '+' symbol, and the numeric value for the number of weeks from now and then add a 'W' to the end. Example: now+6W
- Months from now - Enter 'now', a '+' symbol, and the numeric value for the number of months from now and then add an 'M' to the end. Example: now+2M
Please keep in mind that these options are only available per event. We plan to add them to the 'Company' > 'Financials' at a later date!
